Ms Vassiliki Kapralou holds a BA (Hons) in English & Greek Language & Literature from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and an MA in Applied Linguistics & ΤΕSOL from Leicester University, UK. She joined the TEI of Thessaly (TEI of Larissa, at the time) in 2001 as a Lecturer in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and has taught Business English at the Project Management Dept and Business Administration Dept, and Business for Accounting at the Accounting & Finance Dept.  

She has also taught ESP courses, as a Lecturer under contract, in other Higher Education Institutions, such as the University of Thessaly, Hellenic Air-Force Academic, TEI of Piraeus, TEI of Messolonghi, and post-secondary Vocational Training Institutes, in Greece, since 1989. She has been involved in the coordination and implementation of Erasmus and Youth European projects since 1999. Her main research interests lie in the field of European Higher Education Area Practises and Internationalisation issues, Multiculturalism & Multilingualism in the EU, and CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) & TELL (Technology-Enhanced Language Learning).
