Athanasios Makris is an Industrial Designer with a Master degree in Advanced and Integrated Manufacturing systems.

He worked as “Industrial Designer” in various companies (fabrics and technical offices) and he played a key role achieving a various set of goals in the new product development and manufacturing process.

Since 2003 he has been teaching in the field of “Industrial Design and CAD/CAM Engineering” giving part time lectures in educational centres and technical institutions.

From April of 2016 he is permanent academic member working as a special laboratory staff in the rapid prototyping and industrial design lab of the Institution of TEI of Thessaly, Department of Furniture Design and Wood Technology”.
